Para Cook and Para Helper Vacancies in Himachal Pradesh Jal Shakti Vibhag

- Applications are invited for 2 honorarium-based posts: 1 Para Cook and 1 Para Helper under the Jal Shakti Division, Reckong Peo, Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh.
- The selected candidates will be responsible for the operation and upkeep of Rest Houses and Inspection Huts on an honorarium basis.
- The working hours for these posts are 6 hours per day.
- The recruitment is strictly honorarium-based and does not confer any right to regularization under the current policy of the Government of Himachal Pradesh.

- Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen and a Bonafide Himachali.
- Residency: Must be a permanent resident of the area under Jal Shakti Circle, Reckong Peo, Distt. Kinnaur (HP).
- Age Limit: Between 18 and 45 years (as of the last date of application).
- Mental Fitness: Must possess a sound mind and no family member of the candidate should be employed in any Government, PSU, or Board job.
- Criminal Record: Must never have been involved in any act of a criminal nature.
- Medical Fitness: Must be medically fit to perform the duties.
- Educational Qualification:
- Para Cook: Must have passed Matriculation (10th) from a School/Institution in Himachal Pradesh (not mandatory for Bonafide Himachalis) and either:
- A degree/diploma in any trade from a Government-approved Hotel Management Institute/Institute of Hotel Management or Food Production Institute, or
- 5 years of experience in Cooking/Catering from any Government or private institution.
- Para Helper: Must have passed Matriculation (10th) from a Board/University recognized by HP/Central Government (not mandatory for Bonafide Himachalis).

- Selection will be purely on merit based on the following criteria (out of 10 marks):
- 5 marks: Percentage of marks obtained in the 10th standard (e.g., 50% = 2.5 marks).
- 1 mark: BPL family status (if applicable).
- 2 marks: Experience in the related field (if any).
- 2 marks: Skill test for Para Cook & Para Helper.
- The date for the skill test will be intimated separately after scrutiny of documents.
- No TA/DA will be payable to applicants for appearing in the skill test.

- Matriculation certificate (detailed mark sheet required; otherwise, application will be rejected).
- Degree/Diploma in any trade from a Government-approved Hotel Management Institute/Institute of Hotel Management or Food Production Institute (for Para Cook only).
- Experience Certificate in the related field (if applicable).
- Bonafide Himachali Certificate.
- Non-Employment Certificate (to confirm no family member is employed in Government/PSU/Board jobs).
- Valid Character Certificate issued by a 1st class Magistrate.
- BPL Certificate (if applicable, issued not later than six months).
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS Certificate (if applicable, issued by the competent authority).
- Medical Fitness Certificate.
- Certificate confirming no criminal record.
