Operations & Maintenance Various Posts Recruitment Drive

- Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Limited (GMRC), a 50:50 joint venture of the Government of India and Government of Gujarat, is recruiting for Operations & Maintenance roles in Ahmedabad/Gandhinagar.
- Positions are available on Contract/Deputation/Post-Superannuation basis for a minimum of 3 years, extendable up to 5 years based on performance.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in modern urban metro rail systems.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in Gujarat State for at least 3 years and are conversant with Gujarati language.

- Sr. Deputy General Manager (Traction):
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics from a recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of executive-level experience in private organizations OR 11 years in Government/PSUs.
- Age Limit: 48 years (Contract), 57 years (Deputation), 62 years (Post-Superannuation).
- Pay Scale: ₹80,000-220,000 (IDA scale) or consolidated pay of ₹1,00,000/month (Post-Superannuation).
- Deputy General Manager (Signalling):
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications/Applied Electronics/Industrial Electronics/Power Electronics/Instrumentation.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in private organizations OR 8 years in PSU/Metro Corporations.
- Age Limit: 45 years (Contract), 57 years (Deputation), 62 years (Post-Superannuation).
- Pay Scale: ₹70,000-200,000 (IDA scale) or consolidated pay of ₹1,00,000/month (Post-Superannuation).
- Manager (Signalling):
- Qualification: Same as Deputy General Manager (Signalling).
- Experience: Minimum 9 years of experience in private organizations OR 7 years in PSU/Metro Corporations.
- Age Limit: 40 years (Contract), 57 years (Deputation), 62 years (Post-Superannuation).
- Pay Scale: ₹60,000-180,000 (IDA scale).
- Assistant Manager (Signalling) & Assistant Manager (Rolling Stock):
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications/Applied Electronics/Industrial Electronics/Power Electronics/Instrumentation.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in private organizations OR 5 years in Government/PSUs/Metro Rail Corporations.
- Age Limit: 35 years (Contract).
- Pay Scale: ₹50,000-160,000 (IDA scale).
- Sr. Section Engineer (Rolling Stock) & Sr. Section Engineer (Signalling):
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Communications/Power Electronics/Instrumentation.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in maintenance of Rolling Stock/PSD/Signalling.
- Age Limit: 32 years (Contract).
- Pay Scale: ₹46,000-145,000 (IDA scale).
- Section Engineer (Rolling Stock):
- Qualification: Same as Sr. Section Engineer.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance of Rolling Stock/PSD.
- Age Limit: 32 years (Contract).
- Pay Scale: ₹40,000-125,000 (IDA scale).
- Medical Fitness: A-3 category for Sr. Section Engineer and Section Engineer posts.

- Selection will be based on Personal Interviews followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the same or immediate lower grade.
- Candidates will be assessed on knowledge, skills, experience, expertise, aptitude, and physical fitness.
