- Conduct advanced computational research on crystallization processes with a focus on crystal nucleation, growth, agglomeration, and process optimization.
- Develop predictive models integrating Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) with Population Balance Modeling (PBM) to simulate multiphase systems.
- Analyze hydrodynamics, mixing, mass transfer, and crystal formation interactions using CFD-PBM coupled simulations.
- Utilize industry-standard CFD software such as ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM, or COMSOL Multiphysics for multiphase flow simulations.
- Validate CFD models against experimental data to ensure accuracy and reliability of simulations.
- Work under the supervision of Dr. Swapna Singha Rabha and Dr. Himanshu Goyal in the Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT Madras.
