- Preference for M.E/M.Tech. in Power Electronics/Power Electronics and Drives or equivalent (First Class i.e., 60% or 6.5 CGPA).
- For Project Associate - I: B.E/B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering (EE)/Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)/Electrical and Computer Engineering/Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering (EIE) with First Class.
- Preference for M.E/M.Tech. in Power Electronics/Power Electronics and Drives or equivalent (First Class i.e., 60% or 6.5 CGPA).
- Upper age limit: 32 years as on the closing date of advertisement (relaxation as per GOI norms: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC).
- For JRF, GATE paper and subject of qualifying degree must be related to the subject/discipline applied for.
