Territorial Army Officer Recruitment 2026 (ASB Ex Officers Entry)

- Recruitment drive for 05 Territorial Army Officer vacancies under Army Headquarters Selection Board (ASB) Entry 2026.
- Open exclusively for gainfully employed Ex-Service Commissioned Officers (male and female).
- Offline application process via India Post from 27 July 2026 to 25 August 2026.
- Selection based solely on an interview conducted by the Army Headquarters Selection Board (ASB).
- Part-time service with mandatory two months' annual training; no full-time career or pension guarantee.
- Pay and allowances equivalent to Regular Army officers during embodied training and military service.

- Must be an Ex-Service Commissioned Officer (male or female).
- Must be a citizen of India.
- Must be gainfully employed at the time of application.
- Age limit: 18 to 42 years as on the date of application.
- Must be physically and medically fit in all respects.
- Educational qualification: Graduate from a recognized university.
- Serving members of Regular Army, Navy, Air Force, Police, GREF, Para Military, or similar forces are not eligible.

- Applications screened by the Army Headquarters Selection Board (ASB).
- Shortlisted candidates will receive a call-up letter via email for the interview.
- Interview conducted at Directorate General Territorial Army (TA-4), New Delhi.
- No written examination; selection based solely on interview performance.
- Final selection subject to fulfilling all eligibility criteria and document verification.

- Latest physical fitness certificate from a registered MBBS doctor.
- Copy of identity proof with photograph (Voter ID/PAN Card/Aadhar Card/Passport/Driving License).
- Domicile/residential proof.
- Certificate for proof of age (Matric/Senior Secondary mark sheet and certificate).
- Service certificate (for candidates employed in Central Govt/UT/State/Semi Govt/Private sector), authenticated by the head of office, along with a No Objection Certificate.
- For self-employed candidates: Affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper stating nature of employment and annual income, along with a photocopy of PAN card and a self-certified character certificate.
- Gazette notification copy (if name varies across documents).
- Copy of Release Order.
- Copy of Release Medical Board Proceedings.
- Latest income proof from the appropriate authority (Income Tax Department/Magistrate/Employer).
- Copy of PAN Card and Aadhar Card.
- Copy of certificates/reports of all courses.
- Discharge/Service Particular Booklet.
- Copy of latest Income Tax Return (ITR) filed.
- Certificate from the employer confirming release for training/embodiment.
- Self-certified good moral character certificate.
- For self-employed candidates: Notarized affidavit confirming residence, self-employment status, and approximate annual income.
