📋 Job Description

- Temporary contractual position under the project 'Development and Scale-Up of an Integrated Biohydrogen Production Platform from Corncob Biomass' (JISL, SP-392).
- Work involves research and development in biohydrogen production, anaerobic microbiology, and biomass conversion technologies.
- Position is part of the Bioenergy Group at MACS - Agharkar Research Institute, Pune.
- Selected candidates may be assigned to other projects based on institutional requirements.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

- First-class B.Sc./B.Tech in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Chemical Engineering.
- Desirable: First-class M.Sc. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience in anaerobic microbiology, biohydrogen/biomethane/bioethanol production, or anaerobic digestion is preferred.
- Age limit: 50 years as of the closing date (05.08.2026). Relaxation applicable for OBC, SC, ST, and other categories as per Government of India norms.
