Apprentice Trainees Engagement in Various Trades and Disciplines

- Engagement of Apprentice Trainees under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 (as amended) for ITI, Diploma, and Graduate (Degree) candidates.
- Training provided in diverse technical trades including Machinist, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Civil Engineering, and more.
- Stipend ranging from ₹6,800 to ₹12,300 per month based on qualification and trade.
- National Apprenticeship Certificate awarded upon successful completion of training.
- No obligation for regular employment post-training; apprenticeship is a learning opportunity.

- ITI Apprentices: Must have passed ITI in the relevant trade (except Glass Former and Processor, who require 8th standard pass).
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Must hold a full-time Diploma in Engineering/Technology in relevant discipline.
- Graduate (Degree) Apprentices: Must hold a full-time Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology or any discipline (for non-engineering graduates).
- Candidates must have passed qualifying examination in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026.
- Minimum age: 14 years (ITI), 18 years (Diploma), 21 years (Degree). Maximum age: No limit (ITI), 24 years (Diploma), 26 years (Degree).
- Age relaxation applicable as per Government rules for reserved categories and ex-servicemen.
- Candidates must not have undergone or pursued apprenticeship training earlier in the same qualification.
- Candidates must not have more than one year of work experience post-qualification.
- Sandwich diplomas, private diplomas, part-time/distance/short-term/certificate courses are not acceptable.

- Selection based on walk-in-interview conducted on 10th August 2026 at CSIR-CECRI, Karaikudi.
- Candidates must register online in NAPS/NATS portal before the interview.
- Shortlisting may be done if the number of candidates exceeds available vacancies.
- Final selection subject to verification of original documents and eligibility criteria.
- Selected candidates will be awarded National Apprenticeship Certificate upon completion.

- Enrolment Number generated after registration in NAPS/NATS portal.
- One recent passport-size photograph.
- Experience certificate (if applicable) and any other relevant testimonials.
