📋 Job Description

Recruitment for temporary Library Professionals to support modern library management systems and digital technologies at IISER Mohali.
Position involves working in a state-of-the-art library with Open Source Software like Koha and DSpace.
Opportunity to contribute to national projects such as NDL, IRINS, NIRF, Shodhganga, Shodhshuddhi, and e-ShodhSindhu.
Role includes managing library resources, digital applications, and emerging IT tools in a dynamic academic environment.
Certificate of Experience will be provided upon successful completion of the training period.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Citizenship: Must be a citizen of India.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (preference for Bachelor’s in Science) and Master’s in Library & Information Science (MLISc) or equivalent from a recognized university.
Academic Record: Consistent good academic and conduct record required.
Desirable Skills: Knowledge of computers, IT, and digital applications in libraries. Preference for candidates with a Degree in Computer Science.
Language Proficiency: Good communication skills in both English and Hindi.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years for EWS category, 35 years for SC category (as of the last date of application submission).
