Child Helpline Supervisor Vacancy

- The Women and Child Development Department, Janjgir-Champa, is inviting offline applications for the post of Child Helpline Supervisor under Mission Vatsalya for Child Helpline 1098.
- This is a single vacancy for the Child Helpline Supervisor position in the Child Help Line Unit - Janjgir-Champa, Chhattisgarh.

- Nationality: Applicants must be local residents of Chhattisgarh and possess a domicile certificate issued by a competent authority.
- Qualification: Candidates must hold a degree in Social Work, Computer Science, Information Technology, Community Science, Sociology, Social Science, or Social Science in Psychology from a recognized university.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer operations and MS Office is mandatory.
- Experience Preference: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in emergency helplines or related fields.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be between 21 and 35 years old as of January 1, 2026. The maximum age limit, including relaxations, shall not exceed 45 years.
- Category-wise Age Relaxation: Relaxations in age will be provided as per the General Administration Department of the Government of Chhattisgarh for reserved categories (ST, SC, OBC).

- Selection will be based on a merit list prepared using the following criteria:
• 60% weightage for the percentage of marks obtained in the mandatory educational qualification.
• Experience marks: No marks for mandatory minimum experience, but 2 marks per year of experience beyond the minimum, capped at 10 marks. Emergency helpline experience earns 2 bonus marks per year, capped at 10 marks.
• Personal interview or skill test: Carries 20 marks (10 marks each if both interview and skill test are conducted).
- Candidates will be called for the personal interview or skill test in a 1:5 ratio based on merit.

All categories (General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS) with age relaxations as per Chhattisgarh government norms.

- Birth certificate or Class 10th marksheet for age proof.
- Class 10th marksheet and Class 12th marksheet.
- Professional course certificate (if applicable).
- Domicile certificate of Chhattisgarh.
- Experience certificates (only full-time, issued by authorized employers).
- Identity proof (Aadhaar card, Voter ID card, or any other valid ID).
- Self-attested passport-size photograph with signature across the lower half.
- Self-addressed envelope with a Rs. 10 postage stamp (for acknowledgment).
