- Preferential qualification: Territorial Army service (minimum 2 years) or NCC 'B'/'C' certificate.

- Registered with an Employment Exchange in Uttarakhand,
- Fall under specific service/residency exceptions (e.g., armed forces personnel, state/central government employees, or permanent residents of Uttarakhand living outside the state for study/livelihood).

- Maximum age: 42 years as on 01 July 2026.
