- Candidates must have appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test 2025 (PET-2025) and hold a valid PET-2025 scorecard issued by UPSSSC.
- Shortlisting for the Main Exam is done post-wise based on normalized PET-2025 scores, up to 15 times the number of advertised posts.
- Candidates must possess a High School certificate from UP Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad or equivalent, and a three-year Diploma in Agricultural Engineering from PrΔvidhik Shiksha Parishad, UP, or an AICTE-approved equivalent.
- Preferential qualification: Candidates with a minimum of two years in the Territorial Army or NCC 'B' certificate are given preference.
- Age limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 40 years as on 1 July 2026, with age relaxation for reserved categories as per government rules.
