UPSSSC Regional Youth Welfare and Provincial Development Officer & Exercise Trainer Recruitment 2026

- The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released a notification for 412 vacancies under the Directorate of Youth Welfare and Provincial Guards, Uttar Pradesh.
- Open only to candidates who have appeared in the PET-2025 and hold a valid scorecard.
- Positions include Kshetriya Yuva Kalyan evam Pradeshik Vikas Dal Adhikari (Regional Youth Welfare and Provincial Development Officer) and Vyayam Prashikshak (Exercise Trainer).
- The recruitment is for permanent and temporary posts across Uttar Pradesh.
- The selection process involves a written Main Examination followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

- Educational Qualification:
• For Kshetriya Yuva Kalyan evam Pradeshik Vikas Dal Adhikari: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in India.
• For Vyayam Prashikshak: Bachelor’s degree + D.P.Ed/B.P.Ed from a recognized institution.
- Preferential Qualifications (for both posts):
• B.P.Ed/D.P.Ed degree (for Adhikari, mandatory for Vyayam Prashikshak).
• 3 years’ service as Block Commander/Halka Sardar/Dalpati in the organization.
• Minimum 2 years’ service in the Territorial Army.
• NCC ‘B’ certificate.
- Age Limit: 21–40 years as of 1 July 2026 (with age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per U.P. rules).
- Physical Standards:
• Male (General): 167.7 cm height, 78.8 cm (unexpanded) chest, 83.8 cm (expanded).
• Female (General): 152 cm height.
• Scheduled Tribe (Male): 160 cm height, 76.5 cm (unexpanded) chest, 81.3 cm (expanded).
• Scheduled Tribe (Female): 147 cm height.

- Written Main Examination: Objective-type, 100 questions, 100 marks, 2 hours duration.
• Negative marking: 25% of marks deducted for each wrong answer.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Qualifying in nature, discipline-specific events with minimum marks required.
• Male Events: 200m race, long jump, high jump, shot put (minimum 10 marks per event).
• Female Events: 200m race, long jump, cricket ball throw, skipping rope (minimum 45 marks combined).
• Special Events (Male): Malkhamb, Aasan, Mugdar (minimum 50 marks combined).
• Special Events (Female): Malkhamb Rope, Aasan, skipping rope (minimum 40 marks combined).
- Final Merit List: Based solely on written exam marks; PET is qualifying only.

• No fee for SC/ST candidates (only ₹25 online processing fee).
