- Assistant Registrar: Must have 3 years of regular service as Section Officer/Private Secretary in Pay Level 7 or above.
- Section Officer: Must have 3 years of regular service in the feeder grade of Senior Assistant/Legal Assistant in Pay Level 6, with one week of training in administrative and financial skills.
- Senior Assistant: Must be Assistants, Hindi Assistants, Assistant Archivists, or incumbents of other ex-cadre posts in Pay Level 5/Pay Level 4 with at least 3 years of regular service.
- Assistant: Must be Junior Assistants/Hindi Typists in Pay Level 2 with at least 3 years of regular service.
- Junior Assistant: Must be Group C employees in Pay Level 1 with Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent qualification and at least 3 years of regular service.
- Eligibility determined as of 31 December 2026.
- Section Officer: Must have 3 years of regular service in the feeder grade of Senior Assistant/Legal Assistant in Pay Level 6, with one week of training in administrative and financial skills.
