Disaster Project Officer Recruitment 2026-27

- The U.T. Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu has announced a contract-based vacancy for the post of Disaster Project Officer under the Disaster Management Cell, Collectorate, Diu.
- This is a short-term contract engagement with a monthly consolidated pay of Rs. 35,000/-.
- The recruitment is purely offline, and candidates must submit their applications in person or via Speed post/Courier.
- The selected candidate will not have any right or claim for regularization against future regular or permanent vacancies.

- Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in Disaster Management, Social Work, Town Planning, Social Science, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Experience: Applicants must have 3 years of work experience in a related field.
- Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to candidates with higher qualifications in the same field and basic computer knowledge.
- Age Limit: The upper age limit is 40 years as of the last date of receipt of applications (21 October 2026).
- Nationality: Only eligible Indian Citizens can apply.

- Selection will be based on offline application submission followed by shortlisting for interviews.
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified via the official websites of the U.T. Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
- No interview call letters will be sent via post, and no TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

- Self-attested proof of work experience (employment certificates, etc.).
- A recent self-attested passport-size photograph pasted on the application form.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the concerned authority (if currently employed with any government or organization).
- No Objection Certificate is mandatory for candidates already in government service.
