Guest Faculty Positions across 31 Departments

- Tripura University invites applications for 95 Guest Faculty positions across 31 departments and schools.
- Assignment is purely temporary and may be discontinued at any time without prior notice.
- Honorarium: Rs. 1,500 per lecture, with a maximum cap of Rs. 50,000 per month.
- Superannuated teachers up to 70 years of age may be considered for these positions.

- Candidates must meet UGC Regulations, 2018, and applicable UGC/AICTE/NCTE/MoE norms.
- Minimum qualification: Postgraduate degree in the relevant subject (specific departmental requirements vary).
- Department-specific desirable qualifications include NET, Ph.D, or technical skills (e.g., MATLAB, Python, CST for Engineering departments).
- Indian citizenship is mandatory.
- No separate minimum percentage or years-of-experience criterion specified beyond UGC norms.

- Applications will be screened based on an Academic Score sheet (max 100 marks) covering Graduation, Post-Graduation, M.Phil/Ph.D, NET/SLET, research publications, teaching experience, and awards.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for a walk-in interview, tentatively starting from 31 August 2026.
- Selection is based on academic score and performance in the walk-in interview.
