Consultant - Infrastructure Development and Support (IDS)

- Provide technical guidance on all infrastructure development and maintenance projects undertaken by TISS.
- Scrutinize project proposals, drawings, and estimates to ensure compliance with CPWD norms and government standards.
- Coordinate with CPWD, PWD, local authorities, and other government agencies for technical approvals and statutory clearances.
- Assist in preparation of detailed project reports (DPRs) and tender documents for new and renovation works.
- Evaluate bids and assist in the tendering process, including technical evaluation and recommendations.
- Monitor ongoing projects, conduct periodic site inspections, and submit progress reports to the competent authority.
- Advise on maintenance schedules, preventive works, and sustainable infrastructure practices.
- Ensure adherence to timelines, cost control, and quality standards in all engineering activities.
- Provide inputs for annual infrastructure planning and budgeting, including prioritization of works.
- Mentor and support existing engineering staff in enhancing technical capacity and process efficiency.

- Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in planning, execution, and supervision of civil works in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous organizations.
- Must have held the position of Executive Engineer or above in CPWD or equivalent organization.
- Experience in handling multi-storied institutional, residential, or public infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of CPWD manuals, government procurement procedures, and contract management systems.
- Age limit: Below 65 years at the time of appointment.

- Shortlisted candidates will be called for a Personal Interaction (interview) at TISS, Mumbai.
- Selection will be based on performance in the Personal Interaction.
- Candidates must produce a 'No Objection Certificate' from their employer to appear for the interview.
- Selected candidate must join within 15 days of selection.
