- Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Ltd. invites applications for the post of Agricultural Officer on a regular basis.
- The role involves promoting modern agricultural practices, educating farmers about subsidies, and assessing eligibility for agricultural loans.
- Responsibilities include organizing awareness programs, evaluating loan risks, and acting as a liaison between the bank and rural communities.
- Candidates must have familiarity with government schemes, NABARD guidelines, and RBI norms.
- The posting is transferable anywhere in India based on bank requirements.

- Maximum age limit: 30 years as on 31.07.2026.
- Educational qualification: Degree in Agriculture with minimum 50% marks.
- Additional preference for specializations such as Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Dairy Science, or Agricultural Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a Bank, RRBs, or any financial institution.
- No pending vigilance case or adverse observation from RBI/Statutory Authority against the candidate.

- Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview via direct or video conferencing.
- The mode, date, and time of the interview will be communicated individually to eligible candidates.
- Final selection is subject to the bank's discretion and decision is final.
