- Graduate Apprentice (18 posts): Must hold a B.Tech/B.E degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering (Regular Full-Time).
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentice (61 posts): Must hold a Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering (Regular Full-Time).
- Candidates must be residents of Tamil Nadu as per the Apprenticeship Rules 1992.
- Minimum physical standards as prescribed in Clause 4 of the Apprenticeship Rule 1992 must be met.
