- Must hold a Master’s Degree in Law with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
- Must meet one of the following experience criteria:
3 years as Professor or 8 years as Associate Professor or 15 years as Assistant Professor (academic level 11 and above) at Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Government Law College in Tamil Nadu, or comparable institutions in higher education.
3 years as Principal of a Government Law College in Tamil Nadu.
15 years of administrative experience, with 8 years as Deputy Registrar or equivalent post at Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University or other universities in Tamil Nadu.
3 years of experience as an officer of the Government not lower in rank than Deputy Secretary to Government, Law Department.
- Must meet one of the following experience criteria:
