- Must possess a 3-year Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university/institution.
- Higher qualifications in the same discipline are also eligible.
- Must have passed Matriculation examination with Punjabi as a compulsory/elective subject or equivalent as per Punjab Government rules.
- Age limit: 18 to 37 years as on 01 January 2026 for General category (relaxations applicable for reserved categories as per Punjab Government rules).
- Must be a resident/domiciled in Punjab State with valid domicile/residence certificate (not older than 5 years at the time of counselling).
