- Must possess a valid MBBS degree followed by postgraduate qualifications (DM/DNB/DrNB) in the respective specialty.
- For Electrophysiology: DM/DNB/DrNB in Cardiology with additional Fellowship in Electrophysiology.
- For CT Surgery: M.Ch/DrNB/DNB in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- For Anesthesia: DM/DrNB/DNB in Cardiac Anesthesia.
- For Vascular Surgery: M.Ch/DrNB/DNB in Vascular Surgery.
- Must have completed the Basic Course in Biomedical Research from a recognized medical institution.
- Must be physically and mentally fit to discharge duties.
- Candidates employed in Central/State Government must produce a 'No Objection Certificate' from their employer.
- In-service candidates claiming age relaxation must submit an experience certificate from their employer.
- Candidates blacklisted by KMC, facing criminal cases, or dismissed from service are ineligible.
