Recruitment Against Scouts & Guides Quota for Level-1 and Level-2 Posts

- Open advertisement notification for recruitment against Scouts & Guides Quota for the year 2026-27.
- Total of 10 vacancies: 2 posts in Level-2 (Group 'C') and 8 posts in Level-1 (erstwhile Group 'D').
- Posts are open to candidates of all communities with no reservation earmarked under this recruitment.
- Selected candidates for Level-2 posts must acquire typing proficiency of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi within two years of appointment.
- Place of posting will be decided by the Competent Authority.

- For Level-2 posts: 12th (+2 stage) pass with minimum 50% marks (relaxable for SC/ST/ESM/PwBD candidates) OR 10th pass with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC)/ITI approved by NCVT.
- For Level-1 posts: 10th pass or ITI or equivalent or NAC granted by NCVT.
- Mandatory Scouts & Guides qualification: President Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder, active member for last 5 years, and attendance at specified events.
- Candidates must possess valid Scouts & Guides certificates as per Annexure-A.

- Stage-I: Written Test (60 marks) with 40 objective questions (40 marks) and 1 essay-type question (20 marks) in bilingual format (Hindi/English).
- Negative marking: 1/3rd of marks deducted for each wrong answer in objective questions.
- Minimum qualifying percentage: 40% in written test.
- Stage-II: Marks on certificates (40 marks) based on participation in National/State/District events and specialized courses.
- Final merit list prepared based on combined marks from Stage-I and Stage-II.
- Candidates up to 5 times the number of vacancies who score minimum 40% in written test will be called for certificate verification.
- Medical examination mandatory for selected candidates.

All (General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, PwBD, Ex-servicemen, Women)

- Scanned self-attested copies of educational certificates (10th/12th/ITI/NAC) and date of birth proof (Birth Certificate/10th certificate).
- Self-attested Scouts & Guides qualification certificates (President Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger/HWB) and Certificate of Activeness (Annexure-A).
- For reserved categories: SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EBC/EWS/PwBD certificates as per prescribed formats.
- Original certificates must be produced during document verification.
- Passport-sized photograph (35mm x 45mm, 20-50KB, JPG/JPEG) and signature/LTI (10-40KB, JPG/JPEG) uploaded during application.

- General/OBC-Male/UR-Male: ₹500 (refundable ₹400 after appearing in written test).
- SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/PwBD/Women/Minorities/EBC: ₹250 (refundable ₹250 after appearing in written test).
- Fee payment must be made online via Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card.
- Candidates must indicate refund preference during application submission.
