Assistant Professor (Various Departments)

- Shri Govind Guru University (SGGU) is inviting online applications for 31 Assistant Professor positions across 17 academic departments.
- The recruitment is for Academic Level-10 (Pay Matrix: Rs. 57,700 to Rs. 1,82,400) with Dearness Allowance and other state government benefits.
- Candidates must apply online via the official SGGU website (sggu.ac.in) and submit a hardcopy of the application with self-attested documents by the deadline.
- One post is reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD – Blind and Low Vision), and several posts are reserved for women candidates as per state norms.

- Master's degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian university or an equivalent foreign degree.
- Must have cleared NET/SLET/SET conducted by UGC/CSIR or an equivalent test, OR hold a Ph.D. as per UGC (2009/2016) regulations.
- Ph.D. holders from foreign universities ranked in the top 500 (QS/THE/ARWU) are also eligible.
- For Pharmacy: B.Pharm. + registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 + First Class Master's degree in relevant specialization + Ph.D. in Pharmacy.
- For Performing Arts: Master's degree (55%) + NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D., OR a traditional/professional artist with a Bachelor's degree and 'A' grade from AIR/Doordarshan.
- For Physical Education: Master's degree in Physical Education/Sports (55%) + inter-university/inter-collegiate representation + NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D., OR Asian Games/Commonwealth Games medal winner with a postgraduate degree.
- For Computer Science: B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S./MCA with First Class as per AICTE 2019, OR Master's degree with 55% in Computer Applications/Computer Science/IT + NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D.
- For Management (MBA): Bachelor's degree + Master's in Business Administration/CA/IPGDM/ICWA/M.Com with First Class + 2 years of professional experience (exempted for Ph.D. holders from AICTE-approved institutions or IIMs).
- For Fine Arts: Bachelor's and Master's degree in the relevant branch with First Class or equivalent in at least one degree + minimum 2 years of professional experience.

- Candidates are shortlisted for a personal interview based on an Academic Score (maximum 100 marks): Academic Score (80 marks), Research Publications (10 marks), Teaching/Post-Doctoral Experience (10 marks).
- Final selection is based solely on performance in the personal interview.
- Call letters for shortlisted candidates will be sent via email and displayed on the university website. No TA/DA is provided for attending the interview.

- Hardcopy of the online-submitted application form.
- Self-attested copies of certificates proving qualifications, experience, publications, and all other claims (arranged in proper sequence with numbering as per the checklist in Annexure-II).
- For SEBC candidates: Valid Non-Creamy-Layer certificate for the current financial year in the prescribed format.
- For SC/ST/SEBC/EWS/PwBD candidates: Prescribed certificate as per State Government norms.
- For foreign university degrees: Equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
- In-service candidates: No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer or Annexure-III endorsement.

- General category candidates: Rs. 2,000/- (non-refundable).
- Other category candidates: Rs. 1,500/- (non-refundable).
