Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for AR&DB-DRDO Funded Project

- One temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) available under an AR&DB-DRDO funded project titled 'Design and predict applicability of aluminium-based high entropy alloy foams and sandwich structures for leading edge and fuselage aerospace applications'.
- Selected candidate may register for Ph.D. program at Department of Mechanical Engineering (DoME), SVNIT Surat, subject to institute norms.
- Project duration: One year (extendable based on fund availability and performance).

- Essential: Post Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, Production, Industrial & Production, Metallurgy, Applied Mechanics, Aerospace Engineering, or relevant professional courses with B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical, Production, Aerospace, Metallurgy, or allied branches.
- Mandatory: Selection through GATE or national-level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments/agencies (e.g., DST, DBT, DRDO, IITs, IISc, IISER, NISER).
- Desirable: Experience in Manufacturing Metallurgy, Solidification Processing, Modelling, Microstructural and Mechanical characterizations.
