- Qualification: Ph.D. in the relevant discipline with a first-class in preceding degrees (Bachelor’s Degree onwards).
- Experience: Experience at Assistant Professor level with Academic Grade Pay ₹6,000 or ₹7,000 (Pay Level 10 or 11) is required as per MHRD letter dated 27th October 2017. Only regular experience of more than six months in eligible institutions/organizations will be considered.
- Credit Points: Essential educational qualifications, experience, and credit points as per Schedule ‘E’ of the NIT Statute (Gazette of India, 24th July 2017).
- Reservations: Reservation for PwD at 4% as per Government of India norms. Category-wise vacancies: UR-08, OBC-03, SC-01, ST-05.
