Recruitment for the post of Specialist Medical Officer Grade-II (General Medicine) under a special drive for backlog vacancies reserved for SC category domiciles of Uttar Pradesh.
Position is in Level-11 of the Pay Matrix with a salary range of Rs. 67,700 to Rs. 2,08,700 as per 7th CPC.
Offline mode of application submission with strict deadline and postal submission requirements.
Selection will be based solely on an interview conducted by the institute.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Must be a domicile of Uttar Pradesh for SC category reservation benefits.
Hold a recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 (excluding licentiate qualifications).
Holders of qualifications in Part II of the Third Schedule must fulfill conditions stipulated under Section 13(3) of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019.
Postgraduate Degree or Diploma in General Medicine or a super-specialty mentioned in Schedule-VI of the National Medical Commission Act.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the concerned specialty after obtaining the postgraduate diploma.
Upper age limit is 50 years as of 1st July 2026 (decisive date for age calculation).
Age relaxation applicable as per Uttar Pradesh Government rules for reserved categories and government employees.
Ex-servicemen may deduct their military service period from their age, subject to conditions.
