Engagement of Individual Consultants for Bridge Engineering Roles

- RITES Ltd. is a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Consultancy organization specializing in transport infrastructure, building, and related technologies.
- Engagement is for dynamic and hard-working professionals in bridge engineering roles on a CV-based assignment basis.
- Positions are located in Kolkata, West Bengal.
- Consultants will be engaged as Independent Consultants with no employee or principal-agent relationship with RITES Ltd.

- Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering for all positions.
- Category 1 (Sr. Design Review Engineer): Minimum 6 years of total experience with at least 4 years in modelling, analysis, and design of superstructure of RCC and PSC long-span bridges on Pile and Well foundation for Cable Stayed/Extradosed Cable Stayed Bridges using MIDAS and/or Sofistik.
- Category 2 (Sr. Bridge Design Specialist for Viaduct and other structures): Minimum 7 years of total experience with at least 5 years in modelling, analysis, and design of superstructure and substructure of RCC and PSC long-span bridges on Pile and Well Foundation using STAAD, MIDAS, and/or Sofistik.
- Category 3 (Sr. Bridge Design Engineer): Minimum 6 years of total experience with at least 4 years in modelling, analysis, and design of superstructure and substructure of RCC and PSC long-span bridges on Pile and Well Foundation using STAAD, MIDAS, and/or Sofistik.
- Area of Experience: Major River Bridges, ROBs, Flyovers/Underpasses related to Highway Projects for all categories.
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 60 years as of the last date of application submission (30/08/2026).
- Experience from training/internship/teaching/academic/fellowship/PhD research will not be counted toward post-qualification experience.

- Selection is based on document scrutiny and a personal interview.
- Candidates will be evaluated on technical skills, subject knowledge, experience, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Document scrutiny will verify eligibility criteria, including educational qualifications and experience certificates.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview, which may be conducted in-person or via video conferencing.
- Final selection is subject to approval of CVs by the client and continued requirement of the project.
- Results will be uploaded on the RITES website with candidate details and registration numbers.
