Assistant Manager (IT/Network & Security) – Various Vacancies

- RITES Limited, a NavRatna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, is recruiting dynamic professionals for the role of Assistant Manager (IT/Network & Security).
- The selected candidate will be posted anywhere in India or abroad as per company requirements.
- The position involves reviewing and assessing network security, evaluating security posture of core network services (DHCP, DNS, VPN), and implementing cybersecurity improvements.
- Responsibilities include planning and managing EDR solutions, ensuring compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, and incident analysis and risk mitigation.

- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering/Technology, Computer Science, or related fields such as Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunications, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Instrumentation, or Post-Graduate Degree in the same disciplines.
- Minimum Post-Qualification Experience: 2 years in one or more areas of IT/Network & Security, including experience in setting up Wi-Fi & LAN networks for 100-250 nodes, creating use cases for security controls (DLP/EDR/XDR), managing video conferencing with Central MCU, and hands-on experience with SD-WAN setup, firewall configuration, and network management.
- Age Limit: Maximum age of 32 years as of 27.10.2026. Relaxations applicable as per government norms for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD categories.
- Academic Marks: Candidates belonging to UR/EWS must have a first-class degree (minimum 60% marks) or equivalent. Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD) must have at least 50% marks.
- Degree Recognition: Degree must be recognized by AICTE/UGC or equivalent regulatory bodies in India.
- Experience Validation: Only relevant work experience (excluding training, internships, or academic fellowships) will be counted. Apprenticeship training in the relevant discipline will be considered.

- Written Test: 125 objective-type questions (1 mark each) in 2.5 hours. No negative marking. Minimum qualifying marks: 50% for UR/EWS and 45% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD.
- Document Scrutiny: Shortlisting based on written test performance and vacancies. Candidates must upload supporting documents substantiating claims in the application form.
- Interview: Ratio of 1:6 for vacancies. Weightage distribution: Written Test (60%), Interview (40%). Minimum qualifying marks in interview: 60% for UR/EWS and 50% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD.
- Medical Examination: Selected candidates must pass a medical examination as per RITES standards.
