Recruitment of Engineering Professionals for Metro Works

- RITES Ltd. is a premier multi-disciplinary consultancy organization under the Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India, specializing in transport, infrastructure, and related technologies.
- Urgent requirement for dynamic professionals in Metro works for roles such as GM (Team Leader), JGM (Geotechnical Expert), and DGM (Architect).
- Selected candidates will be posted at any location in India or abroad as per company requirements.
- Initial appointment on probation for one year, followed by a screening test for confirmation of services.
- Candidates must clear a medical examination as per RITES rules and standards of medical fitness.

- For GM (Team Leader / Metro works): Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with 19 years of post-qualification experience, including 15 years in project management for rail-based urban transit systems (Metro/MRTS/RRTS/High-speed/Semi-high-speed). Must have worked as Team Leader/Project Director or equivalent for at least 5 years.
- For JGM (Geotechnical Expert / Metro works): Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering with 13 years of post-qualification experience, including 9 years in geotechnical investigation, foundation design, and temporary works for rail-based urban transit systems. Must have worked as Sr. Geotechnical Expert/Geotechnical Expert for at least 3 years.
- For DGM (Architect / Metro works): Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture with 11 years of post-qualification experience, including 7 years in architecture design and drawing for elevated and underground stations in rail-based urban transit systems with hands-on expertise in BIM. Must have worked as Sr. Architect/Architect for at least 3 years.
- Candidates from Central/State Govt./PSUs/Autonomous Organizations must meet specific pay scale requirements (e.g., IDA/CDA pay scale of Rs. 90,000-2,40,000 for GM, Rs. 70,000-2,00,000 for JGM, Rs. 60,000-1,80,000 for DGM).
- Candidates from private sector must have an annual CTC of at least Rs. 38.78 LPA (GM), Rs. 28.91 LPA (JGM), or Rs. 24.10 LPA (DGM) on the last date of application submission.
- Age limit as of 30.09.2026: 49 years (GM), 43 years (JGM), 41 years (DGM).
- UR/EWS candidates must have a first-class degree or minimum 60% marks in the minimum qualification. Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD) must have at least 50% marks.
- Degree must be recognized by AICTE or equivalent. Sections A & B of the Institution of Engineers (India) are also accepted.
- Training/internship/teaching/academic/fellowship/PhD research experience (except on-the-job training) is not counted as part of experience. Apprenticeship training is considered subject to fulfillment of other criteria.

- Document Scrutiny: Candidates must upload supporting documents to substantiate claims made in the application. Deficiencies will be notified, and candidates must produce original documents during verification.
- Interview: 100% weightage with 65% for Technical & Professional proficiency and 35% for Personality, Communication & Competency. Minimum 60% marks required for UR/EWS (50% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD) to be considered for placement.
- Candidates can opt for the selection process in Hindi or English.
- Medical examination as per RITES rules is mandatory for appointment.

- EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD Certificate in the prescribed format by Govt. of India (if applicable).
- Proof of Identity & Address (Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, Aadhaar Card, etc.).
- PAN Card.
- Proof of each period of experience claimed (offer letter, joining order, relieving letter, service certificate, pay slips, etc.).
- Any other document required to substantiate eligibility claims.

- General/OBC Candidates: Rs. 600/- plus applicable taxes.
- EWS/SC/ST/PwBD Candidates: Rs. 300/- plus applicable taxes.
- Fee refunded to SC/ST/PwBD candidates upon participation in further selection process after submission of valid category certificate.
