AM-Programmer (Contract Basis)

- RITES Ltd. is a premier multi-disciplinary consultancy organization under the Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India, specializing in transport, infrastructure, and related technologies.
- The position is for a dynamic and hard-working professional on a contract basis under the IDA pay scale.
- Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India as per company requirements.
- The appointment is initially for one year, extendable based on mutual consent and satisfactory performance.

- Full-time Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, EC&E, or equivalent branch of engineering, OR Post Graduate Degree in Computer Application.
- For Degree holders: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in C++ and Linux.
- For Diploma holders: Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in C++ and Linux.
- Training (except on-the-job training), internship, teaching, academic fellowship, or PhD research experience is not counted as part of experience.
- UR/EWS candidates (and SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD applying against unreserved posts) must have first-class degree or minimum 60% marks in the minimum qualification.
- Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD) must have at least 50% marks in the minimum qualification.
- Maximum age limit: 40 years as on 17.09.2026 (cut-off date for application).
- Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, and 10 years for PwBD candidates (subject to conditions).

- Selection is based solely on an interview (100% weightage).
- Interview assesses technical & professional proficiency (65%) and personality, communication & competency (35%).
- Minimum 60% marks required in the interview for UR/EWS candidates (50% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD against reserved posts) to be considered for placement.
- No minimum qualifying marks required in the aggregate.
- Candidates must produce original documents for verification at the appropriate stages.
- The selection process may be conducted from RITES’ Regional Offices based on company discretion.

- EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD Certificate in the prescribed format by Govt. of India (wherever applicable).
- Proof of Identity & Address (Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, Aadhaar Card, etc.).
- PAN Card.
- Proof of each period of experience claimed (offer letter, joining order, relieving letter, service certificate, pay slips, etc.).
- Two recent passport-size color photographs.
- PwBD Certificate (if applicable).
