Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC) on Contract Basis

- Engagement of one (01) post of Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC) on contract basis with fixed hourly remuneration at Reserve Bank of India, Panaji, Goa.
- The BMC will operate from a private dispensary within a 5 km radius of the RBI office in Panaji.
- Fixed duty hours: 12:15 PM to 2:15 PM (Monday to Saturday, excluding Bank holidays).
- Total contract duration: 3 years, non-renewable.
- Remuneration: ₹1,000 per hour, paid monthly, with ₹1,000 per month for conveyance and ₹1,000 per month for mobile charges reimbursement.
- Additional compensation: ₹1,000 per hour for attending on public holidays.
- No superannuation benefits, provident fund, gratuity, or leave entitlements.
- Contract terminable with 3 months' notice or payment in lieu thereof; 15 days' notice for gross misconduct.

- Minimum qualification: MBBS degree from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Postgraduate degree in General Medicine from a recognized university is also acceptable.
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience as a Registered Medical Practitioner in the Allopathic system.
- Dispensary/residence must be within a 5 km radius of the RBI office in Panaji.
- Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) must fulfill eligibility criteria at par with unreserved candidates.
- OBC candidates in the 'Creamy Layer' must apply under the General (UR) category.
- Reserved category candidates must submit a caste certificate in the prescribed format.

- Selection will be made through an interview conducted by the Reserve Bank of India, Panaji.
- Shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification and a medical examination (cost borne by the applicant).
- Final selection is subject to medical fitness and acceptance of the contract terms and code of conduct.
- The Bank reserves the right to raise minimum eligibility standards or limit the number of candidates called for the interview.

- Self-declaration stating no objection from current employer(s).
- No Objection Certificate (if engaged in any hospital/organization for more than 30 hours per week).
- Passport-sized photograph affixed to the application form.
