Empanelment of Casual Assignees in Various Categories at Doordarshan Kendra, Guwahati

- Empanelment is for casual assignments only and does not constitute a regular post or guarantee permanent employment.
- Selected candidates may be assigned a maximum of 7 assignments per month.
- Applications must be submitted within one month from the date of publication of the notification on the official website.

- Indian origin candidates residing in Assam are eligible to apply.
- For Casual News Reader/News Anchor: Age between 21-40 years.
- For Assistant News Editor: Age between 25-50 years.
- For Assistant Website Editor, Broadcast Assistant, Video Editor, CG Operator, and Stenographer: Age between 21-50 years.
- Minimum educational qualification for all posts: Degree from a recognized University (except Video Editor and CG Operator, who require 10+2).
- Proficiency in Assamese and/or English is required based on the post applied for.

- Selection will be based on the discretion of the panel as per the terms and conditions of the assignment.
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the test/interview.

- Copies of educational qualification certificates.
- Proof of age (e.g., birth certificate, matriculation certificate).
- Proof of residence (e.g., domicile certificate, voter ID, Aadhaar card).
- Experience certificate (if applicable).
- Prescribed application format (Annexure-A) must be submitted.
- Separate detailed CV can be submitted along with the application.

- No application fee is payable for any post.
