Principal

- Recruitment for the post of Principal in Ramanujan College, University of Delhi.
- Position falls under Academic Pay Level 14 of the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix.
- College is accredited with Grade 'A++' (CGPA 3.71) by NAAC.
- Tenure: 5 years, extendable for another 5 years based on performance assessment.

- Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of combined teaching/research experience in universities, colleges, or higher education institutions.
- Must hold the position of Professor or Associate Professor.
- Minimum 10 research publications in UGC Care List and SCOPUS-indexed journals.
- Minimum research score of 110 as per the screening guidelines provided in Annexure-V.
- Applicants must possess the required qualifications and experience as on the closing date of application (28.08.2026).
- Candidates serving in Government/Public Sector Undertakings must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the time of interview.

- Applications will be screened by a Screening Committee based on academic/research scores and eligibility criteria.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview conducted by a Selection Committee.
- The Selection Committee includes representatives from the Governing Body, University of Delhi, Higher Education experts, and subject specialists.
- Final selection is based on merit, with the list of selected candidates forwarded to the University for approval.
- The Governing Body will appoint the Principal as per University Ordinance XVII.
- Tenure extension is subject to performance assessment by a committee appointed by the University.

All categories (General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS) are eligible as per Government of India norms.

- Self-certified copies of academic certificates (Ph.D., M.Phil., PG, UG, etc.).
- Experience certificates duly issued by the parent organization.
- Research publications (original and self-attested copies).
- Proof of research score calculation (e.g., publication details, project sanction letters).
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the current employer (if applicable).
- Vigilance Clearance Certificate from the parent department/organization.
- Valid photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving License, or Passport).
- Category certificate (if applicable for reserved categories).
- Proof of date of birth (Class 10th certificate).

- Application fee: Rs. 2000/- for all candidates.
- Fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
- No application fee for candidates who applied in the preceding advertisement but were not interviewed, subject to proof of prior application.
