🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Junior Engineer (JE): Three-year Diploma in Engineering (or equivalent B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Electronics & Allied Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
- Depot Material Superintendent (DMS): Three-year Diploma in Engineering in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution (or equivalent higher qualification).
- Candidates must be Indian citizens, Nepalese citizens, Bhutanese subjects, or persons of Indian origin migrated from specified countries with intent to settle permanently in India (subject to eligibility certificate where applicable).
- Minimum age: 18 years as of 01.01.2027. Maximum age: 33 years as of 01.01.2027 (relaxations apply for reserved categories and ex-servicemen).
⚙️ Selection Process
- 1st Stage CBT: Screening test with 100 questions (Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, General Science) for 100 marks, 90 minutes duration (120 minutes for scribe-eligible candidates).
- 2nd Stage CBT: Discipline-specific test with 150 questions (General Awareness, Physics & Chemistry, Basics of Computers & Applications, Basics of Environment & Pollution Control, Technical Abilities) for 150 marks, 120 minutes duration (160 minutes for scribe-eligible candidates).
- Negative marking: 1/3rd mark deducted for each wrong answer in both CBT stages.
- Document Verification: Based on merit and options in 2nd Stage CBT; number of candidates called equals vacancies.
- Medical Examination: Post-specific medical standards (A-3, B-1, B-2, or C-1) as per Annexure A of the official notification.
