- Educational qualification: B.Sc./B.Sc. Agriculture/B.Sc. Forestry with a minimum OCPA of 6.0/10.0 or 60% marks.
- OR M.Sc. Soil Science with a minimum OCPA of 6.5/10.0 or 65% marks.
- Candidates with CSIR-UGC/ICAR NET qualification are eligible for a fellowship of Rs. 31,000 + 16% HRA.
- Candidates without NET but with M.Sc. Soil Science (6.5/10.0 or 65% marks) are eligible for Rs. 25,000 + 16% HRA.
- Candidates with a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline (where Master's is required) are also eligible.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in soil testing and analysis.
