Process Server and Peon Recruitment 2026

Recruitment drive for 13 Process Server and 65 Peon positions in the Principal District and Sessions Courts, Uttara Kannada, Karwar.
Positions are temporary and subject to the discretion of the appointing authority.
Selected candidates may be posted in various courts under the jurisdiction of the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Uttara Kannada, Karwar.
Applications must be submitted online through the official court website.

Indian citizenship is mandatory.
Minimum educational qualification: SSLC (10th standard) pass or equivalent.
Age limit (as of 16.09.2026):
- General category: 18 to 40 years
- OBC category: 18 to 43 years
- SC/ST category: 18 to 45 years
- Ex-servicemen: Age relaxation as per government norms (up to 5 years for ex-servicemen with 10 years of service).
- Widows/Divorced women: Age relaxation up to 10 years.
- Persons with disabilities: Age relaxation as per government norms.
Physical fitness: Candidates must be physically fit to perform the duties of the post.
No criminal record: Candidates must not have been convicted of any criminal offense.
Residence preference: Candidates with local domicile in Karnataka will be given preference.

Selection will be based on merit and performance in the selection process.
For Process Server:
- Merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the SSLC examination.
- Selection ratio: 1:25 (1 vacancy for every 25 applicants).
- Final selection will be made from the top 10 candidates in the merit list.
For Peon:
- Merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the SSLC examination.
- Selection ratio: 1:10 (1 vacancy for every 10 applicants).
- Final selection will be made from the top 10 candidates in the merit list.
Candidates will be called for document verification and final appointment based on their position in the merit list.
No interviews will be conducted for the selection process.

Open to all categories (General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS) as per government reservation norms.

Scanned copy of SSLC (10th standard) mark sheet or equivalent certificate.
Scanned copy of caste certificate (if applicable) issued by a competent authority.
Scanned copy of income certificate (if applicable) issued by a competent authority.
Scanned copy of ex-servicemen certificate (if applicable) issued by a competent authority.
Scanned copy of disability certificate (if applicable) issued by a competent authority.
Scanned copy of domicile certificate (if applicable) issued by a competent authority.
Scanned copy of passport-sized photograph (recent and clear).
Scanned copy of signature (clear and legible).
Scanned copy of any other relevant certificates or documents as specified in the notification.

No application fee is required for any category of candidates.
Fee payment must be made online through the State Bank of India (SBI) payment gateway.
Fee payment is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Fee payment must be made using Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
Fee payment must be made in the name of the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Uttara Kannada, Karwar.
Fee payment must be made within the stipulated time frame as per the notification.
Fee payment must be made only through the official online portal provided in the notification.
