Minimum educational qualification: SSLC (10th standard) pass or equivalent.
Age limit (as of 16.09.2026):
- General category: 18 to 40 years
- OBC category: 18 to 43 years
- SC/ST category: 18 to 45 years
- Ex-servicemen: Age relaxation as per government norms (up to 5 years for ex-servicemen with 10 years of service).
- Widows/Divorced women: Age relaxation up to 10 years.
- Persons with disabilities: Age relaxation as per government norms.
Physical fitness: Candidates must be physically fit to perform the duties of the post.
No criminal record: Candidates must not have been convicted of any criminal offense.
Residence preference: Candidates with local domicile in Karnataka will be given preference.
