Peon (Sevaka/Attender) Recruitment 2026

- Recruitment for 48 Group-D/Class-IV Peon (Sevaka/Attender) positions in the Principal District and Sessions Court, Hassan.
- Pay scale ranges from ₹27,000 to ₹46,675 per month, including admissible allowances.
- Selection is based on SSLC (10th Standard) merit followed by an interview.

- Recruitment is subject to the final outcome of pending Writ Petitions before the Karnataka High Court.

- Must have passed the SSLC (10th Standard) examination conducted by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board or an equivalent examination.
- Must be able to read and write the Kannada language.
- Minimum age: 18 years as on the closing date of application.
- Maximum age: 40 years for General category, 43 years for Category 2A/2B/3A/3B, and 45 years for SC/ST/Category-1 (including one-time 5-year relaxation).
- Additional age relaxations apply for ex-servicemen, physically disabled candidates, widows, and other specified categories.

- No written examination; candidates are shortlisted for interview based on SSLC marks in a 1:10 ratio against vacancies.
- Interview carries 10 marks and assesses efficiency and general knowledge.
- Final selection is based on a combination of SSLC marks and interview performance.
- Selected candidates undergo a 2-year probation period, including departmental and Kannada language examinations.

- Widow/bonded-labour-freed person certificate (if applicable).
- Third gender certificate (if applicable).

- ₹200 for General category, Category 2A/2B/3A/3B, and Ex-Servicemen.
- No fee for SC, ST, Category-1, and Physically Handicapped candidates.
- Fee is payable online via State Bank Collect using Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI.
- Fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
