- Candidates must be permanent residents of the same Gram Sabha/Ward for which they are applying.
- Minimum age: 18 years as on 01.07.2026 (age calculated based on High School certificate).
- Maximum age: 35 years as on 01.07.2026.
- Minimum educational qualification: Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent.
- Merit will consider educational qualifications up to postgraduate level.
- Two women from the same family cannot be appointed as Anganwadi Karyakartri at the same Anganwadi centre.
- Income limit for BPL category: โน46,080 annually for rural areas and โน56,460 annually for urban areas (as per Uttar Pradesh government orders).
- Certificates (income, residence, caste) must be online-verifiable and issued by the competent authority.
