Senior Resident Doctors (Various Departments)

- Recruitment for 58 vacancies of Senior Resident Doctors across 25 departments.
- Posts include both surgical and non-surgical departments with specific reservation categories.
- 3 posts reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities in non-surgical departments as per Government of India policy.
- Adhoc appointments may be considered for reserved category posts if candidates are unavailable.
- Scale of pay: Level 11 of Pay Matrix with entry pay of Rs.67,700/- per month plus NPA and other allowances.
- Age limit: 45 years as of the last date of application submission (07.09.2026).
- No travelling allowance will be provided for attending the interview.

- Postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) in the respective field/subject after obtaining a medical qualification included in Schedule I & II of the 3rd Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956.
- Satisfactory completion of compulsory internship after MBBS.
- Must be registered with any State Medical Council or the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria at the time of application submission.
- For candidates sponsored by state governments for MBBS/MD/MS, bond obligations and rural posting requirements (if any) must be fulfilled.
- Age relaxation: Up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates for reserved vacancies. Age relaxation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities as per Government of India norms.

- Selection will be based on the interview conducted by the institute.
- The date of the interview will be published on the institute’s official website.
- Only eligible candidates who fulfill the criteria will be allowed to appear for the interview.
- Candidates must bring original documents for verification at the time of the interview.

- MCI/NMC eligibility certificate for candidates passing from foreign medical institutions.
- Result of screening test for Indian nationals with Foreign Medical Qualification issued by the National Board of Examinations.
- MD/MS/DNB passed certificate.
- Medical registration certificate for MBBS/MD/MS/DNB.
- NOC from the present employer (if employed).
- Experience certificate (if applicable).
- Residence certificate issued by competent authority or Aadhar card or voter ID and passport.
- Character certificate.
- EWS certificate (if applicable) issued by the competent authority as per Annexure-II.
- Disability certificate issued by a duly constituted Medical Board of the State or Central Government Hospital/Institutions (for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities).
