- Candidates must be registered in either Agartala Employment Exchange or Sepahijala Employment Exchange with Tripura state domicile.
- For Junior Engineer (Electrical):
- SC/ST candidates: Full-time regular Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with pass marks.
- UR/EWS candidates: Full-time regular Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 70% marks.
- For Junior Engineer (Mechanical):
- ST candidates: Full-time regular Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering with pass marks.
- UR/EWS candidates: Full-time regular Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering with minimum 70% marks.
- Diploma courses must be approved by State Technical Education Board/BTE and should not be through distance learning.
