NLC India ITI and Graduate Apprentice Recruitment 2026

- NLC India Limited invites online applications for 1067 apprenticeship training slots under Advertisement No. L&DC/04/2026.
- Open for ITI Trade Apprentices (700 vacancies) and Graduate (Non-Engineering) Apprentices (367 vacancies).
- Training locations are Neyveli and Regional Office, Chennai.
- Apprenticeship duration is 12 months with a monthly stipend ranging from ₹12,000 to ₹16,678.
- This is not permanent employment; it is training only.
- Only candidates hailing from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry are eligible.

- ITI Trade Apprentice: Must have passed ITI in the relevant trade from a recognized institute. No passing-year restriction.
- Graduate (Non-Engineering) Apprentice: Must possess a regular full-time Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline from a UGC-approved university. Eligible disciplines include: B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Sc (Computer Science, Chemistry, Geology, Microbiology), B.Pharm (Allopathy/Ayurveda), and B.Sc Nursing.
- Passing Year Requirement for Graduates: Must have passed in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026.
- Age Limit: Minimum age of 18 years as of 31 October 2026 (born on or before 31 October 2008). No maximum age limit specified.
- Reservations: Applicable as per the Apprentices Act for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, and PwBD categories. OBC-NCL candidates must provide a valid certificate issued on or after 1 April 2026.
- Exclusion: Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing NAPS/NATS apprenticeship or PM internship training are not eligible.
- Gender Eligibility: Both male and female candidates are eligible.

- Selection is merit-based, determined by the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- ITI Trade Apprentices: Selected based on marks in the ITI examination.
- Graduate Apprentices: Selected based on marks in the Bachelor’s degree. If CGPA is provided, it will be converted to percentage as per the university’s norms (e.g., CGPA multiplied by 10).
- In case of a tie in marks, preference will be given to the older candidate (based on date of birth).
