- Temporary position for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under an ANRF (Anusandhan National Research Foundation) sponsored project.
- Project title: 'ML-Driven ISAC for Hybrid Satellite–Terrestrial 6G Connectivity'.
- Focus on developing Machine Learning-based algorithms for sensing and communication in terrestrial wireless systems, satellite systems, and Integrated Satellite–Terrestrial Networks (ISTN).
- Duration: 2 years (extendable based on performance review every 12 months).
- Principal Investigator: Dr. Sucharita Chakraborty, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, NIT Silchar.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

- Indian citizens only.
- Maximum age limit: 35 years as on 03.09.2026 (relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN/PWD candidates as per Govt. of India rules).
- Essential qualification: M. Tech/ME in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EE), or Electronics & Instrumentation (E&I) with a valid GATE score.
- Desirable: Solid understanding of digital communication, probability theory, optimization, and wireless communications.
- Desirable: Experience with programming languages such as MATLAB or Python.
