📄 Details & Description
Temporary position for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a DBT-sponsored project focused on designing and modeling Lab-On-Chip based bio-reactors to mimic human kidney functions for in vivo implantation.
Project involves interdisciplinary research in microfluidics, MEMS, and biomedical engineering to develop advanced bio-reactor systems.
Opportunity to work under the guidance of experienced Principal Investigators in a premier technical institute.
Position offers exposure to cutting-edge research in medical device development and biomedical engineering.
Project duration is initially four months, extendable based on fund availability and project progress.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Indian nationals only are eligible to apply.
Age limit: Maximum 35 years as on 21.08.2026 (closing date of application).
Essential qualification: M.E./M.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (specialization in microfluidics & MEMS), or related fields from a recognized university.
Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in Master's degree.
GATE/NET qualified candidates will be preferred.
Desirable: Prior experience in microfluidics and MEMS simulation tools, modeling, simulation, and fabrication of micro-devices.
