Deputy Director (Admin) – National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL)

- The National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL), a premier WADA-accredited autonomous body under the Government of India, invites applications for the post of Deputy Director (Admin).
- NDTL is dedicated to human sports dope testing, research, and collaboration with national/international institutes. It operates with state-of-the-art facilities, including LC-Orbitrap-HRMS, GC/C/RMS, and Sysmex XN 1000.
- The selected candidate will be responsible for general administration, establishments, purchase, stores, civil/electrical divisions, administrative matters, budgeting, procurement, legal/vigilance/RTI compliance, and liaison with the Administrative Ministry.
- The post is filled by deputation (including short-term contract) for a maximum tenure of four years (including prior deputation/short-term contract tenure).

- Nationality: Indian citizens only.
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from a UGC/AICTE-recognized university/institute.
- Experience Requirements: One of the following must be met:
- Holding an analogous post on a regular basis, OR
- Five years of regular service in Pay Level 10 (Rs. 56,100–1,77,500) or equivalent, OR
- Ten years of regular service in Pay Level 7 (Rs. 44,900–1,42,400) or equivalent.
- Desirable: Postgraduate degree/diploma in Human Resource Management, Financial Management, or Materials Management; experience in research & development/scientific organizations; and knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 quality management systems.
- Age Limit: Maximum age of 56 years as of the closing date of applications (03.10.2026).

- Selection is based on deputation/short-term contract eligibility and verification of service records, vigilance/integrity clearances, and disciplinary records.

- Complete and up-to-date ACR/APAR for the last 5 years (2021–22 onwards) or attested photocopies.
- Vigilance Clearance Certificate and Integrity Certificate.
- Statement of major/minor penalties imposed in the last 10 years (if any).
- Cadre clearance from the controlling/appointing authority.
- No Report Certificate (NRC) if ACR/APAR is missing for any period in the last 5 years.
