NABARD Specialist Contract Positions 2026

- NABARD invites online applications for 16 contract specialist positions under the Chief Information Security Office (CISO) and Department of Supervision (DoS) - CSITE at its Mumbai Head Office.
- Roles include SOC Analyst, Information Security Analyst, Network Security Analyst, Ethical Hacker & Penetration Tester, Lead Auditor, Cyber & Network Security Specialist, IT Infrastructure & Banking Specialist, and Cyber Security Analyst.
- Engagement is on a contract basis for 2 years, extendable up to 5 years (1-year extensions).
- No superannuation benefits (e.g., Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity) are provided.
- Quarters may be allotted based on request and availability, with a licence fee of 0.5% of remuneration or a fixed HRA of 10% if not allotted.

- Educational Qualifications (as of 01.10.2026):
• SOC Analyst / Information Security Analyst / Network Security Analyst: BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/Engineering/IT/ECE/Information Science/Electrical/Cyber Security; OR MCA; OR Post Graduate degree in Computer Science/IT/Cyber Security/Information Security/Computer Engineering/Information Systems/Software Engineering/ECE (minimum 60% marks). Mandatory certifications:
- SOC Analyst: CompTIA Security+/CEH/Equivalent
- Information Security Analyst: CISA/CISM/CISSP/Equivalent
- Network Security Analyst: CCNP Security/Equivalent
• Ethical Hacker & Penetration Tester: BE/B.Tech/MCA/Post Graduate degree in relevant fields (60% marks) + CEH/OSCP/ECSA/Equivalent
• Lead Auditor / Cyber & Network Security Specialist / IT Infrastructure & Banking Specialist: BE/B.Tech in CSE/ECE/IT; OR Bachelor’s + Master’s in Computer Science/IT/ECE + CISA + one of:
- Lead Auditor: CISSP/ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Lead Implementer
- Cyber & Network Security Specialist: CCNA/CCNP/CEH/CISM
- IT Infrastructure & Banking Specialist: CISM/ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/PCI DSS (PCIP/ISA/QSA/CPISI)
• Cyber Security Analyst: BE/B.Tech in CSE/ECE/IT; OR Bachelor’s + Master’s in relevant fields + CEH/ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Database Certification (Oracle/Microsoft SQL)/Cloud Certification (AWS/GCP/Microsoft Azure/Oracle)
- Age Limits (as of 01.10.2026):
- SOC Analyst / Information Security Analyst: 24–35 years
- Network Security Analyst: 26–38 years
- Ethical Hacker & Penetration Tester: 25–35 years
- Lead Auditor: 32–45 years
- Cyber & Network Security Specialist / IT Infrastructure & Banking Specialist: 30–45 years
- Cyber Security Analyst: 24–32 years

- Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted for interview in a 1:3 ratio based on qualification and experience.
- Interview: Personal interview will be conducted for shortlisted candidates.
- Medical Examination: Selected candidates must undergo a pre-recruitment medical examination. Final appointment is subject to being declared medically fit.
