Professional Interns (Contract Basis) in Marine Department

- Mumbai Port Authority (MbPA) invites applications for 10 Professional Interns on a contract basis in the Marine Department.
- Positions are divided into three categories: Safety/Security/Pollution Professionals (4), Tendering/Technical Monitoring Professionals (3), and Data Analytics/MIS/Billing Support Professionals (3).
- Engagement is purely contractual with no scope for permanent employment.
- The initial engagement period is 2 years, extendable for an additional 2 years with a 2-day break, based on performance.
- Full-time commitment is required; no other assignments can be undertaken during the engagement period.
- Orientation training of 1-2 weeks will be provided for job-related skills.
- Performance reviews will be conducted every 6 months, and periodic reports will be required from the Professional Interns.

- Age Limit: Candidate must be less than 35 years as of 01.10.2026 and in good health.
- Preference will be given to candidates with relevant field experience, supported by fieldwork, policy papers, or project monitoring.
- Soft Skills Required: Eager to learn, excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, multitasking ability, pressure handling, strong data modeling/research/analytical skills, and PowerPoint presentation skills.
