- MNNIT Allahabad invites applications for 1 contract vacancy under the project IoT-Enabled Smart Atmospheric Water and Carbon Capture System Using Ultrasound-Regenerated Hybrid Sorbents for Urban Sustainability.
- The engagement is temporary and co-terminus with the project, initially for 1 year (extendable based on performance and funding).
- The selected candidate will work under the Mechanical Engineering Department and will receive a consolidated monthly stipend of ₹28,000.
- Accommodation may be provided subject to availability and Institute norms. Selected candidates may also be permitted to register for a Ph.D. program at MNNIT Allahabad.
- The project is funded by the Council of Science & Technology, Uttar Pradesh (CSTUP).

- Junior Research Assistant (JRA): Bachelor of Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech.) or equivalent degree with 1st class in graduate and postgraduate examinations.
- Senior Research Assistant (SRA): 1st class M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent degree, or M.Sc./M.Sc. (Ag.)/M.Pharm./M.V.Sc. with at least 2 years of research experience (evidenced by published papers in reputed journals).
- Research Associate (RA): Minimum Ph.D. or equivalent degree, or M.Tech./M.E./M.D. with 3 years of research, design, and development experience.
- Desirable Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in heat and mass transfer, adsorption, atmospheric water harvesting, carbon capture, thermal systems, experimental research, instrumentation, or IoT-based systems.
- Relevant Specializations: B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related fields.
