Computer Lab In-Charge (On Contract)

- Temporary contract position for a duration of one year.
- Responsible for managing and maintaining computer lab infrastructure, including hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Provides technical assistance and instruction to lab users on proper equipment usage.
- Ensures lab equipment (printers, projectors, scanners, etc.) is operated, maintained, and cared for correctly.
- Monitors and prevents unauthorized or harmful software downloads (spyware, malware, etc.).
- Diagnoses hardware issues and coordinates repairs with authorized engineers.
- Conducts regular audits, maintenance, and safety checks in the computer lab.
- Maintains inventory records of lab assets and maintenance activities.
- Sets up and shuts down the lab according to scheduled work hours.
- Guides lab users during emergencies and maintains records of major lab projects.

- Minimum age: 18 years as on 01.01.2026.
- Maximum age: 40 years as on 01.01.2026 (relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per government rules).
- Required qualifications: BCA, BSc Computer Science, BSc IT, 3-year Diploma in Computer Science, or Diploma in Computer Application.
- Desirable: 2 years of experience as a Computer Lab Assistant or Computer Lab In-Charge.

- Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email/phone for an interview.
- Selection will be based on interview performance and verification of documents.

General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS (as per government rules)

- Proof of marks, experience, age, and caste (if applicable).

- Candidates with prior experience at Mahatma Gandhi University need not submit experience certificates (details of service must be provided for verification).
