Security Guards (Armed and Unarmed) Recruitment

- Recruitment for Security Guards (Armed and Unarmed) for deployment at Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU), Fursatganj, Amethi, Uttar Pradesh.
- RGNAU has no role in the selection process; M/s A.E. Securitas handles the entire recruitment.
- Engagement is purely temporary and co-terminus with the contract between M/s A.E. Securitas and RGNAU.
- Selected candidates may be deployed at RGNAU or any other location as per the agency's requirement.
- Weekly off as per shift duty, with mandatory shift duties including nights, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
- No additional allowances or benefits beyond the stated remuneration and EPF/ESI contributions.

- **Armed Security Guard (Male)**:
- Essential: Matriculation/10th Pass with a valid Arms License issued by the Competent Authority.
- Desirable: Ex-serviceman or completed armed security training from a recognized agency.
- Desirable Experience: Knowledge of safe handling and maintenance of firearms, rules of engagement, use of force, emergency procedures (fire, intrusion, evacuation).
- Preferred: Ex-serviceman (Army, Navy, Air Force) or Central Paramilitary/Police forces with 5 years of armed security experience in University/Institutional/Industrial/Government security.
- **Unarmed Security Guard (Female)**:
- Essential: Matriculation/10th Pass.
- Desirable Experience: Managing basic security duties (access control, patrolling, visitor management, crowd control), fire safety, and emergency response procedures.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience in University/Institutional/Industrial/Government security.
- **Unarmed Security Guard (Male)**:
- Essential: Matriculation/10th Pass.
- Desirable Experience: Managing basic security duties (access control, patrolling, visitor management, crowd control), fire safety, and emergency response procedures.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience in University/Institutional/Industrial/Government security.
- Physical & Medical Fitness: Physically fit, medically sound, and capable of performing shift duties including night shifts.
- Age Limit: Preferably not exceeding 40 years (relaxed for Ex-Servicemen/Central Paramilitary/Police forces as per GoI/University guidelines).

- Selection process includes Written Test (30 marks, 30 minutes), Physical Fitness Test (60 marks), and Security Interaction Evaluation (10 marks).
- Written Test covers general knowledge, security-related topics, and basic aptitude.
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT) includes:
- 1 Km run: 7 minutes 30 seconds (Male) / 9 minutes 20 seconds (Female).
- Push-ups: 20 (Male) / 10 (Female).
- Sit-ups: 20 (Male) / 10 (Female).
- Parade drill: 20 marks (Female only).
- Security Interaction Evaluation: 10 marks (assessment of communication, security knowledge, and suitability).
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test/physical fitness/interaction. Shortlisting is based on higher than minimum cut-off criteria.
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed via phone or email; no TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection process.
