Senior Energy Consultant and Assistant Energy Consultant Recruitment under LEDA

- Recruitment for 2 contractual positions under the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) Scheme 'Strengthening of State Designated Agencies (SDAs) on Efficient Use of Energy and its Conservation'.
- Positions: 1 Senior Energy Consultant and 1 Assistant Energy Consultant.
- Posting location: Office of the State Designated Agency, LEDA, Kavaratti, Lakshadweep.
- Initial contract duration: 1 year, extendable annually based on performance and scheme continuation.

- **Senior Energy Consultant**: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Electrical & Electronics/Energy/Renewable Energy) or Architecture from a recognized university.
- **Senior Energy Consultant**: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in energy efficiency, conservation, renewable energy, electrical utilities, power sector, or government energy projects.
- **Senior Energy Consultant**: Minimum 4 years of experience in implementing BEE programmes through a State Designated Agency (SDA).
- **Senior Energy Consultant**: Experience in programmes under the Energy Conservation Act, 2001 (e.g., PAT, CCTS, S&L, ECBC, ENS, SECF, DSM).
- **Assistant Energy Consultant**: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Electrical & Electronics/Energy/Renewable Energy) or Architecture from a recognized university.
- **Assistant Energy Consultant**: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in energy efficiency, conservation, renewable energy, electrical utilities, or power sector.
- **Assistant Energy Consultant**: Minimum 2 years of experience in implementing BEE programmes through an SDA.
- **Both Posts**: Maximum age limit of 45 years as on 20/09/2026.
- **Both Posts**: Working knowledge of MS Office, GeM, PFMS, e-Office, and preparation of technical/financial reports.

- Scrutiny of applications and verification of eligibility criteria.
- Shortlisting of eligible candidates based on prescribed criteria and experience.
- Personal interview (virtual mode) for shortlisted candidates.
- Final selection based on educational qualifications, experience, technical competence, and suitability for the post.
- Approval of recommendations by the Competent Authority.
